The 2nd Kalma is
fundamental and is called Shahadat which means "bearing witness to
faith". This Kalima revolves around the
central doctrine of Tawheed in Islam. Tawheed itslef is a belief in the oneness
of Allah Almighty or unification of God Almighty SWT. It also narrates that
Allah SWT is One. He is Al-Ahad and Single Means Al-Wahid.
The Holy Book Quran explained the concept of Shahada multiple times and it is also mentioned in Hadith. It may be considered a basic theme and understanding of Islam. When Muslims recite the second Kalima, they mean:
- Allah Almighty SWT is the one and only GOD, Hazrat Muhammad SAWW is the last Prophet and messenger.
- Recitation of 2nd Kalima means Muslims accept the oneness of Allah.
- Muslims will obey all the obligations.
